Fun Fair Donations

Your donations contribute a great deal to the success of the Fun Fair!

Whether it's time, baked goods, food, supplies, crafts, plants, gently used items, money or other goods - please consider donating to help our school. The following committees are asking for your help with various donations. Your generosity is appreciated.

Food

We are seeking your kokua with donations for the Fun Fair.  These donated items will be used to prepare ono foods to be sold at the Fun Fair.  They include spam musubi, andagi, fresh baked bread, shortbread cookies, barbeque beef sticks, and more.

We will be collecting donations curbside next to the cafeteria from

7:15 - 7:45 a.m. or on the cafeteria stage* on October 26 - 29, and November 2 - 4, 2009

*The salted butter marked for Fun Fair should be given to the cafeteria staff

Use the Donation Drop-off Pass for the entrance into the parking lot. Please do not drop off donations at the school office.

We are requesting the following items for a successful Fun Fair.

Bake Sale

Time to dust off your favorite recipes. Your delicious baked items are needed for the Fun Fair’s Bake Sale Booth. Please help support your PTO and the students of MES on Thursday, November 19, 2009 by bringing your donations or volunteering your time for a shift in the Bake Sale Booth. Aloha and Mahalo!   • T-shirt bags (plastic)
  • Cardboard soda boxes
  • Ziploc bags (quart & gallon sizes)
Here are the Donation Guidelines:
  1. Securely wrap or bag all items in plastic.
  2. Label and price all items (refer to the suggested Price Guide & complete the Donation form)
  3. Deliver items  on Thursday, November 19, 2009:
    1. curb side drop off in front of the school or at the cafeteria between 7:00am - 8:00am OR
    2. drop off at the Bake Sale inside the cafeteria after 8:00am
Crafts

Calling All Crafters! Craft donations are needed for the upcoming MES Fun Fair. So, get those creative ideas flowing and make them a reality! Call Maydean Martin at 265-2294 should you have any questions. Drop-off dates and locations to be announced.

Keiki Corner

WANTED: NEW OR USED toys, books, games, dolls, puzzles, etc. for the MES Fun Fair Keiki Corner! The Keiki Corner booth sells new and gently used items to raise money for the many programs and resources enjoyed by the students of MES.

We need your donations of items such as children's books, toys board games, stuffed animals, DVDs & CDs, children's bags/purses etc. to make our booth a success. (NO CLOTHING or SHOES PLEASE). 

Donations can be dropped off beginning October 29, 2009 at the cafeteria stage. Thank you very much!!!!
