PTA BOARD MEETING

June 4, 2008

CALL TO ORDER:
President L. Shimoda called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM in the MES library.

VOTING MEMBERS PRESENT:
Cindy Fukunaga, Margaret Bailon-Labednick, Wendell Oumaye, Manny Salvador, Wanda Kohashi, Ernest Ramiscal, Michelle Gandee, Reiko Kobayashi

NON-VOTING MEMBERS PRESENT:
Denise Arai, Susie Okumura, Kirsten Kajiwara, Wendy Hadano, Marissa Ayag-Garcia

MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING:
Minutes were distributed for the April 9, 2008 Board Meeting. Minutes were approved as submitted.

TREASURER’S REPORT:
None submitted. E. Ramiscal will submit two more reports to end his term. An audit will be conducted before the new treasurer takes over.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
L. Shimoda thanked outgoing members and announced 2008-2010 board members Lori Shimoda (President), Toby Hirashima (Vice President), Mary Ann Reed (Vice President), Robb Taone (Treasurer), and Lei Fukumura (Secretary)

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The next Board Member meeting is July 16, 2008.

ADJOURNMENT:

President L. Shimoda adjourned the meeting at 6:15PM.
