Parents of students attending A-Plus do NOT need to notify A-Plus of their child's attending orchestra. Mr. Hamano will coordinate with A-Plus Coordinator, Ms. Caryn Gushikuma, to assure your child(ren) is/are excused to attend orchestra. Orchestra students shall return to A-Plus unless other arrangements are made with A-Plus by a parent/guardian.
For MES Orchestra students who are NOT enrolled in the MES A+ After-School Program, parents/guardians are responsible for picking-up their student(s) promptly after school, returning them to MES prior to orchestra class, and picking them up immediately after their scheduled orchestra lesson. Students are not allowed to remain on school campus unsupervised. For the safety of your student, we ask that parents/guardians plan accordingly.
