MES Student Council will be holding a Holiday Canned Food Drive this week:

Date: Monday, November 21, through Wednesday, November 23
Time: 7:15am to 7:55am
Place: In front of the cafeteria stage

The Hawaii Foodbank sent out almost 12 million pounds of food this year. Our donations will help children and their families get the nutrition they need, and the elderly who don’t have to choose between a healthy meal and their medication that they need each day. Help our school to help feed Hawaii’s hungry by donating nonperishable canned foods to our food drive. The items most in need are:

• Canned Meats/Tuna
• Canned Meals (spaghetti, chili, stews)
• Canned Soups
• Canned Vegetables
• Canned Fruits

Your donation matters! Every can of food will help feed someone in need.
